TKU Management Service
The Trustees Knowledge and Understanding (TKU) code of practice outlines how trustees should approach training and development. In addition it proposes that trustees should keep a written record of their training and development.
The TKU Management Service is designed to:
- Help trustees identify their training needs
- Develop a Personal Learning Plan (PLP) for each trustee based on their needs
- Source or deliver personalised training based on the PLP and keep a record of that training
- Carry out an annual review to take account of changes in the scheme, legislation and/or regulation, and
- Produce an auditable record of each trustee’s development
