PRESS RELEASE: PTL launches new suite of tools for trustees
Pitmans Trustees Limited (PTL) has today announced the launch of two new tools for trustees. The first of these is a free trustee helpline/email service. This will give lay trustees direct access to a professional independent trustee for free informal guidance and advice. The second tool is a comprehensive directory, the Trustee Training Directory, of training courses provided by firms across the market. The directory is posted on the PTL website.
Richard Butcher, Managing Director of PTL, commented: “there is a worrying dearth of resources available for pension scheme trustees at the moment and this is why we have decided to bring two new support tools to the market.
The free helpline will put trustees in touch with an independent trustee who will be able to answer any questions they might have about managing their pension scheme. we hope that these queries will also help form the basis of the FAQ section on our website in due course.
The Trustee Training Directory will make it easier for trustees to view all of the training courses available to them – saving valuable time and ensuring they pick the course most suitable to them.
“We are hoping these two new initiatives will lead the way for more firms in the industry to follow suit, offering the help and guidance trustees so desperately need.”
