PRESS RELEASE: Pitmans Trustees expands as it welcomes two appointments
Pitmans Trustees Limited (PTL), a leading independent trustee and governance services provider, has appointed Kim Nash as a Client Director to the Reading office and Amy Johnson as a Manager to strengthen the PTL Leeds office.
Kim, who is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, joins from Towers Watson, where she worked as a Benefits Consultant. She has advised both Corporate and Trustee clients on statutory actuarial valuations, along with bespoke projects and has experience of a broad range of projects relating to the management of pension schemes. Amy has worked in the pensions industry for six years, originally with Mercer Ltd and more recently Capita Hartshead.
Richard Butcher, Managing Director of Pitmans Trustees, commented:
“2011 was a strong year for PTL, growing rapidly with 70 new clients coming on board. But the needs of these clients are constantly changing and thus we’ve set out to grow and evolve as a business to meet their requirements. Our goal at PTL is to be innovative and proactive in helping our clients to resolve their DB legacy issues and to help deliver good member outcomes and create an environment where members of DC arrangements can make informed choices. The appointments of Kim and Amy are great news for us and, more importantly, for clients because their skills and expertise will prove invaluable to us going forward as we strive to continue delivering these objectives.”
Kim Nash, Client Director, added: “I am really pleased to be joining PTL at such an exciting time for the firm as it looks ahead to a new era of pensions and the industry in general, which is facing more challenges than ever before. Providing the best service possible to clients is something close to my heart and I’m looking forward to developing this further in my new role.”
