Melissa Haggith

Melissa left university with a business studies degree in 1994 and, after a brief time in finance, has since been in the pensions industry for over 14 years.  She started at Prudential dealing with various types of annuities before moving into documentation services on the corporate side then lastly technical services on the retail side.

 

She moved to Pitmans Trustees Limited in 2001 as a manager to various pension schemes, both money purchase and defined benefit.  Her current portfolio of clients includes on-going, closed, winding-up & FAS schemes with fund values ranging from the small to multi-million pound arrangements.  Melissa’s responsibilities include liaising with Employers, Insolvency Practitioners, Members and Professional & Regulatory bodies.

 

Outside of work Melissa is married with three children which she says “keeps me very busy.  I love going on long bike rides with the family and when I have the luxury of some time to myself I love curling up with a good book (and a glass of wine!).”
