Lee Colgate
Manager
Lee is a solicitor specialising in pensions and has extensive experience in the pensions industry having also worked in administration and trusteeship at some of the leading UK organisations. He is a member of the Pensions Management Institute and the Association of Pension Lawyers.
He enjoys his role at PTL because it enables him to “get directly involved with the issues facing pension schemes and more importantly the people they affect” and feels that his broad experience translates into real added value for his trustee appointments. Lee works primarily with defined benefit schemes and sits as the chair of trustees on ongoing schemes, has helped trustees and employers to wind up schemes both within and without the PPF and the FAS and also assists with individual projects.
Lee is a keen golfer “I'm fairly new to the game but am totally absorbed. My aim is to reach a single figure handicap by next summer... but if I don’t I’ll thoroughly enjoy practising… and picking up a few new pieces of golfing equipage along the way.”
