Chris Netiatis
Manager
Chris graduated at Southampton University and trained and qualified as a pensions solicitor at Mercer. He joined Pitmans LLP as an Assistant in April 2006.
Chris's practical pensions advice and technical analysis are delivered clearly in a down to earth manner. He advises trustees and sponsoring employers on all aspects of pensions law, including group reorganisations and mergers, scheme design and closure, Pensions and Finance Acts matters, enhanced transfer values, age discrimination and employer debt. He also advises on contentious pensions matters, including professional negligence claims and disputes between trustees and sponsoring employers. He is regularly involved in drafting projects consolidating and updating scheme governing documentation.
Chris lists his interests as cookery (Greek/Italian), cars (a massive petrol-head), music (from Frank Sinatra to Jay-Z - known to get down on the dance floor without much encouragement). He enjoys travel with New York being a firm favourite and an annual destination where he can indulge in his love of fashion and shopping.
Fluent in Greek-Cypriot - Chris has a huge family and is able to confirm that the film “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” is indeed true to life!
