Information for Pension Scheme Members

Once PTL is appointed, we will write to all the scheme members for whom we hold addresses to confirm the details of the appointment.

Members should be assured that PTL's responsibility is to safeguard their interests, and to ensure that the scheme is properly administered in accordance with the scheme's governing documentation and pensions law.

Comfort should also be taken from the fact that scheme assets are held under trust by the trustees. Consequently, the assets are wholly independent of the sponsoring employer, and are therefore not available to a receiver in the event of the employer's liquidation.

PTL will write to members with updates, once all relevant information has been gathered and assessed.
