12/09/09 Pitmans Trustees Expands Its Team

Pitmans Trustees Limited (PTL), a leading independent trustee and governance services provider, announced today the appointment of Darren Jefferson to the team. Jefferson will be joining as Manager and will focus on new business development in the North of England, along with client management.

Commenting on the appointment, Richard Butcher, Director at PTL said, ‘The need for independent trustees is accelerating. With so much legislation and increasingly sophisticated investment styles and options, schemes are increasingly engaging us to help them. We have a strong presence in the North of England and it is one we are keen to develop further still. Darren is well known in the pensions market and brings a great deal of experience and regional knowledge. He will be a great asset to our team.’

Jefferson joins PTL from Mercer and, previous to this, held various roles at AON Consulting. He has over 20 years experience within administration and consultancy.
