Professional Pensions - Coalition is considering AE delay

PTL responds to Alistair Darling's pre-speech at the National Association of Pension Funds annual conference:

The coalition is considering delaying auto-enrolment and a delay of more than 12 months will mean the reform package is effectively over, former Chancellor Alistair Darling told reporters.

Senior Manager at PTL,  Simon Riviere's  response to this is:

"The government should consider binning Nest and auto enrolment altogether as it is unworkable. Perhaps this is the first step and should be welcomed. As for Alistair Darling commenting on pension reforms, as he was in government when Gordon Brown removed tax reliefs (thus leading directly to the huge deficits we now have in DB schemes, the closure of those schemes and the introduction of NEST) it is regrettable that he is given a platform to speak about these matters."
